Kids fashion, my little obsession
Let me start off by acknowledging the fact that I have a problem, I have 2 guilty pleasures which take up quite a bit of my Pinterest browsing.
These are makeup and kids fashion.
I’m by no way a fashionista or expert, I am merely a Mommy who loves following whats in and out for kids. I also don’t always follow these or run out and buy what Harpers Bazaar says is in.
I do however like looking at whats out there and drawing some inspiration with my own kids. Shopping for boys can sometimes be so hard, there is definitely not the variety available as wide for boys that there is girls. But here and there you get a piece that just works, from both higher end brands as well as more affordable options. I love when a budget friendly store like i.e. Mr Price keeps with trends out there for kids.
In saying this I thought I’d share some of my fashion loves for kids this winter thanks to hours spent on Pinterest.
I’m obsessed with leggings for both girls and boys, snoods, beanies and moccasins. I think these are versatile for both winter and summer and can be dressed both up and down for any occasion. Kids should look stylish but also still remain kids, I’m not too much of a fan of the “mini me” version of items for adults and kids. These little people still need to look like kids at the end of the day, sweet innocent little munchkins.
If you have a similar love of kiddies fashion feel free to follow me on Pinterest or suggest a board I should follow. I’d love that!
Happy Pinning!
Also, I thought I’d share some outfit inspiration for little ones. Use what you have in your kids cupboard and build up from there. There’s some great SA brands which have come to the party in a BIG way with kids fashion and they’re keeping with the average Joe’s budget. Big win for me!
Today I’m just sharing some Mr Price fashion faves.
