How to prepare for a job interview
TweetVery recently I had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed for a job at our Head Office, as nervous as I was I felt that I had prepared myself as best I could and this definitely showed as I walked in confident and ready for the panel (nerves were definitely present). I thought I’d share my plan on preparing myself for an interview, perhaps some of these tips could assist you in securing that dream job. My constant battle to get my 6 year old to eat…

Raising Men, not Boys
TweetTo me (don’t be a hater, this is my personal opinion), how boys are raised ultimately determines the type of man they will become one day. The type of teenager, adult, Husband and Father they are destined to be. This is what they learn from those who raise them, their Parents. The kind of adults our future depends on lies on the shoulders of our children. Now to you this may not seem like much, but to me, that is the ultimate responsibility. The reason I focus on the boys is because I’m a Mom of 2 boys, I cannot speak to parents on how they should raise their daughters…

Our Routine (which could do with some help)
TweetSo I thought I’d share our routine, this is what it is at present BUT I definitely need to work on it. Anybody out there that can assist, in this I still need to fit all my chores and responsibilities as well as my studies and gym… I don’t know how we’re going to do 2015! Starting Grade R
Tweet A bit late but hey… So this year my Danny boy started Grade R, and what an adjustment it has been for me. Danny has taken to school like a duck to water, no problems and settling in nicely. That’s the great thing about having a friendly and sociable little boy, making friends has been easier for him than most other kids and despite knowing 2 other children in the school he hasn’t stuck to them but branched out. I love that about him. The school he attends only has Grade R’s, there are 2 English classes (20 kids per class) and 4 Afrikaans classes. It’s a feeder to…
