Support Local – Shop with Pickalilly

I have to admit, I have a bit of a soft spot for supporting local brands. This year my goal is to support local brands first and foremost before turning to a big name retailer.

It’s also no lie when I say I have a tiny passion for little people fashion and with 2 boys and a little girl I’m finally able to branch out and find great pieces for all the kids.

So why not join me as I discover new local brands and showcase some much loved local brands during 2019.

For ease of reference I will have my favourite brands listed under the “Shop with me” tab on my site.

To kick off this series we have Pickalilly.

A little background for you. Pickalilly was founded in June 2012 by two friends Liesl and Gabi. These two ladies saw a need for pretty and practical baby and kids products that both a mom and her baby would love. That’s how Pickalilly was born.

I can’t stop swooning over their patterned harem bottoms mixed with
their 100% cotton vests which makes all of their clothes breathable, relaxed, and incredibly comfy.

Must haves this winter, actually ALL YEAR ROUND.

Can we afford to support local brands?

The answer is simple – YES.

Not only is Pickalilly’s quality great but I’ve found them to be one of the most affordable local brands which to me is a BIG positive.

It feels good to support local

It warms my heart knowing that my hard earned money is going towards supporting a local brand which I love. But its even more rewarding knowing that my money went towards making someone else’s dream a reality.

Shop online or instore

With the temperatures dropping ever so slightly in Cape Town it was time for me to unpack Grace’s warmer clothing. It is no surprise that this is a brand which already has a place in our heart and cupboards.

Be sure to head into their store or do some online shopping while sitting in your jammies this long weekend, but be sure not to miss out on supporting this great brand!

While you’re adding all these great pieces to your cart and getting your babe’s winter wardrobe ready be sure to check out their summer sale and stock up on some gorgeous items for the next season?

Definitely ordering this in a size bigger for next summer
