Canal Walk | School Holiday | Alice in Wonderland

Canal Walk | Alice in Wonderland

Canal Walk Theatre

Lewis Carroll’s much-loved classic, Alice in Wonderland, returns in a spectacular original musical by award winning duo at the Canal Walk Theatre.

We were lucky enough to be invited by Canal Walk to the opening of the show and the kids (as usual) LOVED it. We’ve been previously and this is something they look forward to annually.

I cannot utter the words I’m late in front of Josh or he’ll go off on a tangent (like the white rabbit).

Danny is older, so obviously has read more books – the story of Alice in Wonderland was familiar to him.

Josh was however captivated by the story from beginning to end which was great to watch.

The thing I love about the theatre productions at Canal Walk is that its not a long winded boring show. It’s interactive for both young and old.

The shows are roughly an hour which is just as a long as little ones concentration can handle and its fun.

Highlight for me was The Queen of Hearts stole my heart – she was absolutely BRILLIANT!

Alice in Wonderland is a celebration of fantasy and adventure.

You will be enchanted by a Garden of Singing Flowers; learn lessons from a Caterpillar; have a mad-cap tea-party with the Mad Hatter, The March-Hare and The Dormouse and many other unforgettable characters like Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum, The White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat and the Queen of Hearts.

A talented, star-studded cast, together with breath-taking sets, magnificent costumes and numerous beautiful puppets, will bring Alice in Wonderland to life:
