Strawberry picking at Mooiberge Farm

image

On Saturday we decided that for Carls last dsy of leave we’d do something different and take the kids Strawberry picking.

Carl invited his parents and we set off to Polkadraai which is what we had planned, only to arrive at Mooiberge instead. Bit miffed I gathered my goodies and we set out.

Going out lately is a bit tricky, J is very independent for a 15 monther and refuses to sit in his pram when he can be walking around instead. This also means he doesn’t take instructions or direction well.

I started with J while Carl walked with D. By the time they had reached the end of the row J and I had only managed to walk 3m. Its so interesting exploring new things Mama.

We then did a kid swop and continued our strawberry adventure, while D and I were very successful Carl and J were not so much.

They remained in one spot for 15min, thankfully Dad had patience.

The morning was nice, most importantly the boys enjoyed themselves and THAT is what COUNTS.
