Fashion: Winter *essentials* for the ladies
Good Morning Lovely people,
I thought I’d do a quick round up of my winter essentials for 2015. Judging by the weather this morning in Cape Town, its gonna be a chilly one!
I’m definitely NO FASHION FUNDI but I do love clothes, accessories and makeup.
So here’s my quick round up of a few fashion staples to get you through winter 2015
Side note, Woolworths rock. All my needs and wants under one roof. How’s that for being fashion forward and on trend! Now if only I could afford everything.
So here goes:
Starting from the bottom
Ruched Ankle Boot : R899 (Also available in Brown)
The Leather Court : R499 – R899
White Stretch Cotton Skinny Jeans : R299
“We’ve all heard the rule that you can’t wear white after Labor Day, but rules are made to be broken. Plus, white has been creeping its way onto all of the major runways for a few seasons now so it’s time to get on board. That said, the easiest (and safest, at least for your wallet) way to embrace white is with denim.” Elle
Nothing looks more fresh than sleek white jeans paired with oversized sweater or a cozy jersey, and a great pair of ankle boots
Also, a trend which has been going for a while is the faux leather pants / skinnies / leggings. Which I’m obsessed with BUT have not managed to find one which doesn’t make me look like a sausage in its casing (vacuum packed for freshness)
Striped Tops (Long / Short, Cotton / Viscose)
More options
Love Prints? Well I do
The ever popular Trench : R899 (Available in Camel, Stone and Black)
Another option could be to go with a bit of POP and keep your outfit simple but pair it with a bright trench
Not a fan of the classic trench?
Then opt for a Melton Coat Instead : R650 (Also available in Black, Charcoal and Blue)
To finish off your winter look throw on a Fedora and you’re good to go!
Ribbon Trimmed Fedora : R299.95 (Available in black and natural)
As you can see, I love the neutral colours! These are my staples and can be dressed up or worn down by just adding the right accessories.
Or a gorgeous piece of jewellery

So that’s me in a nutshell this winter
Stay Warm!
If there’s anything you think I should add to my essential list please feel free to let me know and I’ll add it to my want list
Let me leave you with some end result outfits
Till later

Ooh how could I forget long boots. You’re right. I have my very old faithful pair that I’ll probably wear atleast twice a week this winter.
I’m a scarf hoarder like you cannot believe!
