Oh my, what a great day. A while back I saw a post up regarding the #CTmeetup and was quite excited about tge possibility of meeting some new Moms and more experienced bloggers in Cape Town. However it did take a lot of guts to actually buy a ticket, you know new faces and awkward conversations and all. Well today was not like that at all! It was great being able to chat to so many ladies I would not ordinarily get to meet. What did we do for fun?
We baked… While scrolling through the blog posts of http://alfinos.wordpress.com/2014/07/21/brownie-in-a-bag-party-packs-easy-peasy-and-inexpensive-too/ I decided that after this hectic week a brownie was definitely in order… Lets see how they turn out, I can’t wait! Much needed me time
As a Mom of 2 boys and a husband that works late and is on 24hrs call it sometimes gets hectic and life sometimes gets the better of us. Well tonight and this week has been just that. Early mornings and late nights BUT thankfully my Mom stepped in and decided to fetch the boys from school to give me an hour of me time. Even as Moms we need to step back every now and then and breath, this doesn’t make us any less of a Mother nor do we have to feel guilty by taking a few minutes for ourselves. I had a chance to recharge my batteries…
